AG&P Pratham, supported by global infrastructure investor I-Squared Capital, is investing Rs 80 billion to enhance its city gas distribution (CGD) network across India. This expansion includes adding more CNG stations and LNG facilities, with a target of serving over 150 million customers across 324,000 square kilometers.

A key component of AG&P’s strategy is the acquisition of the Jaigarh LNG terminal from Darshan Hiranandani’s H-Energy. This acquisition will play a crucial role in boosting AG&P’s LNG distribution capacity, supporting the company’s broader goal of providing cleaner and more sustainable energy to the nation. AG&P Pratham currently operates 18 LNG stations and 460 CNG stations, but plans are in place to increase the number of CNG stations to 800 and grow its LNG stations.
