The Emka foundation, founded by Emmanuel Katto, is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting underprivileged kids. Currently, this Foundation works with a few impoverished villages in Kenya and Uganda. Every child is entitled to education, safe water, food, and shelter. The Foundation adopts a comprehensive strategy because it recognizes that a child's physical and mental health are critical to both their overall wellbeing and academic progress. The charity works with local clinics, hospitals, and healthcare groups to offer impoverished children medical services, preventative care, and a healthy environment.
