Looks like the problem could be with long titles...
Indeed, truncating title to "Donald Trump on Saturday said he had no interest in returning to Twitter even as a slim majority voted in favor of reinstating the former U.S. President" fixed the issue. Apparently there exists an unannounced in ui limit on title length.
